What is "Jordan-Esque?"

Listen up, Listen up, Listen up world...

This is... Jordan-Esque 101

The term "Jordan-Esque", referring to the one and only Michael Jordan, the National Basketball Association's greatest player EVER (my opinion), should not just be another word tossed around, or attatched to the next "Baby Jordan" Harold Minor that enters the league. So often, the media and fans of "the next big hype" want to compare the likes of Air Jordan to kids who dont even compare to "Air Bud" (Cinema Classic). To be Michael Jordan is so much more than to wear his number 23 (Lebron James). We've heard these "Jordan-Esque" impressions since the days of Minor, Grant Hill, and Anfernee "penny" Hardaway up guys like Kobe Bryant and "King" James. King who? Bernard King... Stacie King... The Sacramento Kings? What has he done to declare himself "king" of the best basketball league in the world? Not what Russel did, or Jabaar did, or magic and bird did, and most certainly not what his "airness" did! None of them guys were "kings". Kobe Bryant isnt even a "king" in this league and he's the best current NBA player! And, dont even get me started on how Kobe Bryant IS NOT the next coming of MJ! Did you all watch the same NBA finals I did, Lakers against the Boston Celtics? There was no Jordan on that floor. The only man on the floor with the killer instinct in that series was Paul Pierce. And, we all know he's not Michael.

You see, to be the next Michael "Air" Jordan, is so much more than how many points you score in a game, or winning a title or 2 or 3. It's a lot more than that, and Im about to show you why...

Ladies and Gentlemen, "AIR" Michael Jordan had his #23 jersey retired by the bulls twice, yeah, but also BY THE MIAMI HEAT! In honor of him. A different team... in a different city and state... retired HIS jersey! Michael Jordan is THEE ONE AND ONLY, "Jordan-Esque" there is! He is... as Bret "The Hitman" Hart would say... "The Best There Is, The Best There Was, AND The Best There Ever Will Be!"
