Will I apologize?

What’s up Bengal Country?

You bet your bottom I wont apologize! Apologize for my loose-lipped jive talking after the Bengals beat the Ravens and got a whipping from the Browns. No, I wont apologize, but I will acknowledge my stupidity for thinking that one game makes an entire season. I let myself faulter to that point of those who take the pre-season as serious as they do the regular season. One good game can not project sixteen!

In stating the previous, those of you whom are saying that this season is now over after one game, well I think in fairness, you too, should now realize your logical falsities. ONE GAME DOES NOT DETERMINE THE SEASON! Nor does 2 games, or 3…. or even 4! An NFL season is 17 weeks, 16 games long, and at the end of this years journey you’ll see that our beloved Bengals will be just fine.

As for all the talk about Marvin Lewis and Chucky B., and there press conferences. Bottom line, Im sick of the non-chalant attitudes on the coaching staff. Players will take the emotions of the coach and Marvin has no fire. Anyone that says he does, well defend him when he is not challenging plays that should be reversed, not sticking up for his players, taking ill-advised timeouts, and LEANING ON HIS KNEES DURING TOUGH STRETCHES OF GAMES! IM SICK OF IT! Shape up or ship out! Thanks for all you’ve done, but I dont want to have an era of 8-8’s like i did of 3-13’s. Just because a team is 3-13 through basically a decade it felt like, DOES NOT mean you can or SHOULD settle for mediocracy!

And Bresnahan, thanks pal for shouldering the blame of the bad defensive play against the browns! That really helps us win! Im sick of people saying, well atleast he’s a real man, he’ll take the blame. Well Im TIRED of the blame, I want results. Any real man can take the blame, but a better man would stop apologizing and make it right! Apologies are only good for so long! Im DONE with it!

I WANT A WINNER ON THE FIELD! Week in and week out! Or atleast some consistancy please! Somebody’s job has got to be held accountable here!
If it’s marvin, its marvin! On the other hand, if he can get us over the hump, all the power to him!

I like him as a person, but as a guy with a coaches mentality. IT HAS TO GET BETTER!

Having some optimism, I DO think the Bengals will beat the Seahawks this weekend.
